A new year begins….!

IT’S NOW THE START OF THE NEW YEAR!

After a short break we’re back at work on projects that will transform spaces outside, and lives, in the year ahead. It’s a very positive start to 2019!

2018 heralded our first televised appearance on Better Homes and Gardens and recording of our landscape construction efforts for a forthcoming episode of ABC’s Dream Gardens . Both were terrific experiences for the team.

We’re looking forward to watching that Dream Gardens episode when it goes to air later this year. Hope you’ll join us! (We’ll send out details when we know more.)

Our client base continues to grow, with projects completed from North of Sydney to the Southern Highlands of NSW.

We’ve met some great people along the way and enjoyed working with a broad range of materials from stone and wood, through to the current trend of Corten steel.

However, the excitement is still around concrete – off form, polished slabs or bench tops, even cantilevered.

Every job is different, but it’s a bit of a bonus to enjoy a wide variety of geographies and making the most of the outside space across a variety of terrains. Thankfully, the clients, designers and architects we work with offer year-round diversity.

Weather the weather

Due to popular demand, in 2018 our service offering grew to include scheduled garden maintenance services. Our dedicated garden maintenance team offers scheduled maintenance of the gardens outside and landscaped spaces. We’re now regularly tending outside spaces from sea level to multiple storeys above ground. It’s a great service to help ensure your outside space can weather the weather year-round and remain as usable as possible–particularly if you’re short of time of simply need a hand with the gardening. Please get in touch if this service could help you in 2019.

Personal styling

We get a great deal of satisfaction from the positive impact our outside space transformations have on the lives of clients. Following continued client requests, we now offer a dedicated outside space styling service. Identifying the right furniture and décor to complement your lifestyle and outside space can have a tremendous impact. Not just on how your outside space looks—but also on how it makes you feel, year-round. Give us a call to discuss further.

A final note

From time to time we’re called in to rectify sub-standard work carried out by unqualified tradespeople. (Not our work.) To avoid the inconvenience, cost, and potential strain this can cause, we urge everyone to make sure the contractors they hire carry all the required qualifications and insurances. If you need a run-down on what qualifications and insurances landscape contractors should have when conducting landscape construction work, please give us a call. Rest assured, we’re certified, carry all required insurances and we’re a member of the LNA Master Landscaper’s Association.

We’re already looking forward to a busy year but we’d love to hear from you if there is something we can help with in your outside space. We trust that you and your family will have a great 2019!

All the best,

Greg and the team from Outside Space
