LANDSCAPE APPRENTICES
We currently have an opportunity for a Landscape Apprentices (1st, 2nd or 3rd) to join our team who would work hard to create landscapes with a difference.
The Role
This exciting new role is a great career opportunity where the person will be confident in carrying out residential landscaping sites throughout the Northern Illawarra and must work cohesively with the team in creating projects with pride.
Key Responsibilities
• Leading and managing a small team to deliver high calibre residential landscaping projects,
• Exceptional customer service and effective communication to develop and maintain team
moral, quality workmanship and client relationships
• Running the day-to-day aspect of individual projects. Interpreting plans, setting out
and overseeing jobs from start to finish
• Monitoring of Materials/Equipment
• Ensuring all projects comply with legislation and WHS requirements
• Following company processes and systems
Skills and Experience
• Experience in similar role (3+ years),
• Enjoy a team environment,
• Proficiency and confidence in reading and interpreting design drawings, specifications & plans.
• A good eye for detail and desire to produce a very high standard of work.
• Sound knowledge of hard landscaping and soft landscaping (horticulture).
• Knowledge of tools and equipment used in landscaping trade.
• A strong focus on OH&S standards and consistently maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
Qualifications and Certificates
• Certificate III or higher in Landscaping Construction
• White Card
• Drivers Licence
